Adding a course

Add a course/ section

COBI lets you create and customize courses and add sections.

A Course contains the curriculum content. To modify the content and create assessments, edit the course.

A Section is a single class where students are enrolled, work is graded, and assessment settings are set.

* Multiple sections share the same course.

Add a course

1. From your Dashboard, click '+ Create course'.

2. Then select which course you would like to create. 

Select either:

A. Template-based: Start with a ready-made course such as AP CS Principles, Intro to CS with Python

B. Custom: Blank course for you to start from scratch

3. Enter or change the course name and the description. 

2. Select the course to add.

3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to create multiple sections.

Add Sections

Once you add a course, a section is created automatically for you.

A. Add section - Click to create more sections that use this course.

B. Go to course - Modify the Course content.

C. Code - share this section code so students can join this section.

D. Go to section - Click to enter this section.
